i-Tek is an engineering firm based in Irvine. Last month it was announced that the company had went into administration > http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/irvine-jobs-under-threat-after-7614235#X6Xf2sMBQgyYkOZk.97

When Joe heard the company were in problems he immediately contacted the Council's Economic Development team. The company employs 10 people which means it is too small for support from Scottish Enterprise but Joe made the case for North Ayrshire Council to step in and offer support.

A local plan was being developed to try and assist the staff at i-Tek and offer any assistance possible to the Company. Joe is continuing to pursue the issue.
